Finding Seasonal Joy Among Chaos
Share
Hello Hive!
Sometimes I think the best way to step into a new season is to slow down enough to notice it. Life has a way of rushing us along: school schedules, endless emails, and the constant pull of headlines and notifications. It’s in moments like these that I have to remind myself: the chaos of the headlines does not cancel out the beauty that still surrounds us. We mourned as a nation this past week for Charlie Kirk, among other tragedies, and while we don't ignore the grief, we hold it close, we pray, we stay present with our people and we lean on God as we worship through this. Life is hard, but God is good. Our church began a new series called "Worship is War." Which is so timely as we process the evil surrounding us. Our pastor, Joby Martin speaks about pushing back on the darkness and declaring victory in Jesus. Check it out here and worship along side us.
Amid the heaviness, I’ve found it helps to look for little pockets of comfort and joy, the things that make a day feel lighter, even if just for a moment. For me, that means snuggling with my kids under a cozy blanket, reading my bible (here's a good starting point if you're new to diving into God's word), texting with my closest girlfriends, lighting a candle, pulling out my fall décor, brewing coffee with pumpkin spice creamer, and yes… setting out a few pumpkins on the porch even if the leaves haven’t changed yet. 🍂 It’s not about everything being picture-perfect, because we will never be able to compete with our Influencers, it’s about finding small ways to root ourselves in gratitude and God's grace and goodness right where we are.
This week, I’ve been filling orders for you over at Three Bees Co. I love seeing which designs people gravitate toward this time of year! Some of our best sellers this week have been for our soccer fans with our awesome soccer sets! Of course, our TRVL options are always buzzing out the door, and now introducing pieces from Briton Court!
I think that’s what I love most about running this business: getting to carry items that create a little joy into someone else’s everyday.
✨ Our Queen Bee Collection — I’m adding new items every week to this new collection. Whether you’re shopping for a gift or treating yourself, there’s always something that brings a little joy and charm to your day.
✨ My Home Chef subscription — I love that dinner is almost effortless on our busy weeknights. The recipes are simple, flavorful, and always inspiring me to try new flavors in the kitchen. Here's a gift if you sign up using this link - only $4.99/serving!
✨ Pumpkin Honey Loaf — because fall isn’t really fall without a little baking! This recipe fills the kitchen with warm, cozy aromas and makes the perfect treat for your family or friends. Grab this free downloadable recipe here.
One of my favorite parts of Three Bees Co. is hearing back from you. I’ve had so many sweet emails lately from people gifting our embroidered pouches to teachers, friends, and family. It’s the reminder I need that small things matter. A simple gift can carry love, encouragement, or even just a smile, and that’s enough to brighten someone’s day.
If you’ve ever purchased from Three Bees Co. and want to share your experience, I’d be so grateful if you left a quick review. Your words help more people discover our little hive and keep us buzzing along. 🐝💛
As we lean into this new season, I hope you give yourself permission to celebrate the little things. Brew the coffee, light the candle, write the note, give the gift. It doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful.
XO,
Deanna 🐝
